Amy Renfrey
Digital Photographer
Dear Photography Enthusiast,
If you've
been longing to take excellent, professional looking photos of the
things you love with your digital camera
and have them turn out with perfect
clarity and superb detail and depth, every single time,
as if a professional photographer has taken them, then this will be the most
important letter you will ever read.
Did you know that you can go from getting average digital photos to
a professional looking standard photos in just 14 days?
And did you
know that you do NOT need expensive digital photography courses to
reach a level where your photos will be good enough to exhibit and
even sell?
Did you
also know that you can take beautiful, "reach-out-and-grab-you"
photos on just a 2
mega
pixel camera
and you do not need all the flashy,
expensive equipment to do it?
Let
me
smash this myth; you
do not
need loads of
megapixels
in your digital camera
to take beautifully clear photos with your digital camera.
And let
me
tell you one very important thing too; you can go from taking less
than satisfying photos to taking superb, outstanding photos, with
sharp clarity and perfect definition, right from the comfort your own home.
In fact you can even do it from the chair you are sitting in right
now....
Just
released are two incredibly extensive, written-in-plain-English,
ebooks called
"Digital Photography Success" and "Advanced Digital Photography".
They
cover everything you need to know about how to go from getting
photos you are unhappy with to professional looking photos in just a
short amount of time.
Imagine being
able to take your camera anywhere and get the shots to turn out
exactly the way you want, every time.
And knowing,
just by looking at something in front of you, how to make it into a
beautiful photograph, even before you pick up the camera.
How proud and excited would you feel!
Keep reading and you will finally discover how you can stop having a
gazillion disappointing photos taking up space on your digital camera
and how
you can start replacing
them with fabulous
photos with the depth, detail, clarity and quality you've
desperately longed for.
Imagine knowing EXACTLY how to make that landscape or city skyline
so beautifully sharp, crisp and clear, as if it came
from a glossy magazine?
Can you imagine how elated, happy, cheerful and proud you would feel
when people
say "wow, that's an amazing shot, how much do you want for it?"
You realise they want to buy it from you, because you have stirred something
in their hearts.
Wouldn't it be the most amazing feeling to have the confidence to
shoot anything? And know with certainty that it would
turn out to be the shot you wanted? Your friends and family would be
so proud of you. They'll start telling people
what great photos you take because they'll be so impressed.
You'll never again question "how do I get that Landscape from a
boring flat line to having depth and super sharp detail, just as it does in real
life?" Or ask "How come
others can take brilliant shots and mine are all lifeless and have
no detail? How on earth do they do that?"
You will never ask those questions again. You won't have to. Because
you'll know the secrets.
Imagine being totally comfortable with all the technical side of
photography and
being as familiar with it as you are driving a car or writing your
name?
(Yes, it gets that easy.) And imagine being able to read technical
photography explanations and think "wow this fantastic I know EXACTLY
what they are talking about, and I can even do
it myself after I've finished reading this article."
In just 14 days from now you
could be getting the beautiful, clear, powerful photos that you've
always wanted. You'll start to feel a huge sense of
achievement. You will impress other people
with your new found talent, just by reading and applying
what you learnt in my ebooks "Digital Photography Success" and
"Advanced
Digital Photography".
Did you hear that? In just 14 days! Some
people
take years to learn what you can in just a fraction of the time.
After all, if you knew you could get this photographic knowledge
fast, you would, right?
Just imagine taking pictures and
having them turn out as good as postcards or
like photos you see in photography magazines?
Just imagine how good it will finally feel when the passion for
photography, that you've had for such a long time,
gives you a strong confidence belief in your ability that you can
get excellent photos in ANY situation.
You see my friend, these things are a reality as soon as
you finish reading the two ebooks. It starts happening straight
away. Not in 6 months, but immediately. As soon as you read the
information and take out your camera and apply what you've read;
that's when those beautiful shots start becoming real.
When you gain knowledge from
"Digital
Photography Success" and "Advanced Digital Photography"
this knowledge becomes
your new reality. You can easily achieve this without spending hundreds of
dollars on equipment,
you think you need (but don't) or courses that you have to
physically attend, even if you have never done photography before.
 |
You will be
able to take landscape shots
like this that have depth, width, majestic and
powerful, that
inspire and create a sense of awe. Enjoying the feeling
of knowing that it came from doing something you're
truly passionate about.
|

 |
You will be able to take
night shots that are razor sharp
and crystal clear; as a professional
photographer would. (This is another benefit
to knowing how to control and set the camera
up specifically for night shots)
|

 |
You will have the ability to
create any image or effect
with the camera that you want to, just by
applying a few simple principles you learn in
these eBooks. (Once you learn this knowledge
you'll
never go back to
the standard you were at
before. It would
be impossible, because you can't "unlearn" this
stuff.
|
 |
You will develop such
great photographic talent and
artistic skill that you will be able to exhibit
or sell your photos.
|
 |
You will have
the confidence to take it to the next level or remain
doing it just for the love of it.
Imagine having that choice.
I can show you how to do this.
|
Wouldn't it be
wonderful to
have that much photographic talent,
skill and ability
with your digital camera?
The first time I started taking pictures with a digital camera
I felt disappointed when they didn't come out the way I
wanted them to. I wanted photos with clear, sharp definition and good
colour...I just didn't know how to make them the way I
wanted. Occasionally I'd get one that was better then the
others but I didn't get that "wow" feeling.
I loved landscape photography very much but my landscapes
were always boring flat lines. Glorious, beautiful
flowers in my garden lacked the spectacular detail they had
in real life. City night
shots were always blurry, never getting the sharpness or
quality I wanted. Action shots were just as bad and out of
focus all the time.
The portraits I took didn't come
anywhere near reflecting the loveliness or gentleness of the
person. My 'people
photos' didn't do people
justice at all. They looked overexposed, underexposed,
unclear and hard. And my indoor shots were always annoyingly
dark, even with the flash on and my photos never had the
clarity, sharpness or awesome
feeling I wanted....it was one disappointing shot after
another.
I felt really frustrated and disappointed because I was SO
passionate about photography. Especially since I spent $1300
hundred bucks on
new digital camera,
I wanted to learn all that was possible to learn.
I even tried to "teach" myself photography, taking the
digital camera
everywhere; on hikes, day trips, trips to the beach, but
the photos that I imagined in my mind were just not happening.
One of the problems was that I didn't have any clue about
the technical terms I read in books, or on the internet. They all went WAY over my head.
I would read those magazines and think "I have no idea what
an AF Assist is." Or "High Dynamic Range? What the heck's
that?" "Aliasing? What the..?" All I heard was "blah, blah,
blah."
But the photos that had
those explanations with them sure looked unbelievably
spectacular. They were incredible. Breathtaking in fact.
That's how I knew I had to learn this technical stuff.
And there was absolutely
nothing that told
me
what
anything meant
in layman’s terms.
It was
either all "pro talk" or the very, very basics, which I
knew. There was nothing
in between.
I was not dumb, just 90% unaware of the stuff I needed to know.
And the photography courses? Well I had to work full time
to pay the mortgage I had no time,
or hundreds of dollars to do a proper photography course.
I was stuck. There was nothing out there that catered for my
in between, enthusiast level. I just wanted to be really
good at it and have my photos turn out to that professional
quality, and be as good as the pros without paying huge
money and giving up my work time
to do it.
But I kept going because I was very determined I was going to
finally get this...
Then one day, it happened. I actually got a photo I was
trying to get for years....there it was; a perfect shot.
I remember
that day so clearly. It was about six years ago. I was
driving the car to a beautiful little mountain town, with
tall trees, lush green rolling hills, birds of all
varieties, and running streams and water falls. Driving into
this town there was the most magnificent landscape.....
I pulled over, got my digital camera
out, did all the things that I felt was right Bam! There it
was!
My first professional digital photograph…. and of the thing
I loved most. I was exhilarated, and looked at the photo over
and over and over again. I just kept thinking "Oh my god! I
did it! I did it! I can’t believe I finally did it!"
After
that my
landscape photos went from this:

To this:

I still feel elated when I think back to that moment.
:) It's given
me
a lot of happiness. It was like a feeling of freedom.
And then I discovered how to keep improving.
My
photos went from "snaps" to beautiful pieces of art.
That experience pushed
me
further along the belt of progress and confidence.
Then I photographed John
Blackwell, the drummer for Prince. At the same time I
photographed Magesh, a drummer for the well known singer
Anastasia. I sent Magesh the pictures and here's his email
to me:
|
"Hey Amy,
Just received photo's in the mail today....INCREDIBLE!!! I
was blown away by the awesome quality. Especially the
'realness'. I will have no problem to referring you to my
musician friends should they need a photographer. Like I
said I will make sure you are credited where the photo's are
used. Will send them to John this week. As a token of my
appreciation I would like to send you a copy of my DVD
'Unique Beats'. Please email your postal details, thanks
again Amy, I really appreciate it. Take care........Magesh"
|
.

"Magesh" By Amy Renfrey.
When he sent me his DVD as a thanks,
he included $200 and a Photographers Release form for the use of 4 photos to use in his
coffee table book and on his website. (www.Magesh.net.)
I was blown away. Amazing what happens when you start developing
your skills. Magic things happen. I spent the money on more
camera gear...of course.
From then on I was booked for photography jobs. Over a short
amount of time
(a few months)
I went from
being a keen enthusiast to being paid for my photos.
It was incredible.
Then something
dawned on
me...
Hey, I could teach this...because there are so many people
that were like me in the beginning who are frustrated, they need to know.
I couldn't keep knowledge to myself! Especially when there
were so many people who'd asked for my help. They were just
like me 6 months prior to photographing Magesh; passionate, struggling and frustrated.
So I decided to write a book
with everything I knew, and
photographic terms, in
plain,
easy to understand English so that even the people
with the most basic of understanding would "get" all the
technical terms
plus
learning about the artistic.
In
"Digital Photography
Success"
and
"Advanced
Digital Photography"
you'll discover all types of
exciting and amazing things you never knew before.
You'll go from disappointed (and lacking confidence) to
reaching a
high level of photographic skill and lots of
confidence in your ability
for any situation.
You'll receive
step by
step instructions on HOW to take beautiful pictures of
majestic landscapes, stunning flowers and subjects in
nature, blazing fireworks, gorgeous children, adorable cats
and dogs,
people, sharp and clear night time
shots and so much more. Its not about what to take but
how to get them looking professional
so that you will never have the frustration again. Ever.
Now, to prove that
you don’t
necessarily need the latest
Canon to take beautiful photos
(that you can proud of for the rest of your life), the photos
I've
used in the ebook are my own photos with my very clunky, 5
year old Sony Cyber Shot with lots of annoying lag time.
Here it is ...
I've done this to show you first hand how to get it right
with a basic digital camera.
There are some
awful photos to show you why and how something
does not turn out, and the same
picture taken again well, with different things applied
that has turned out.

Dear Amy,
Thank you for your mail and the e-book which I
downloaded today. I think it's beautifully illustrated
and written. I was in the office when I started to
skim through part 1, and I must admit that I was so
hooked by it's engaging content that I ended up
reading it in detail. In fact this is the first time I
have read a book about photography that clearly
explains the technical aspects of good picture taking.
Thanks again, and of course I will respect your
copyright and distribution wishes.

Dear Amy
Thank you so much for the personal touch re digital
photography. I really appreciate it and apologise for
not having replied earlier. Unfortunately I've been
affected by a bad cold and am now just getting back on
my feet.
Firstly, let me say how impressed I am with your
"Digital Photography Success" and bonus books.
They are very worthwhile additions to my (now
extensive) material on DSLR photography. Nice to have
the Australian touch!! Once again, thanks for your
genuine involvement with your customers.

Dear Amy:
Thank you for taking your time to drop me a note. That
is very kind of you!
It is certainly rare to have an author personally
correspond with their subscribers. It certainly adds a
personal touch. I haven't finished your book as yet,
however, what I have read has been extremely helpful
and informative. Very easy to read. I really don't want
to be a bother, but I may drop you a line when I come
across a problem I just can't seem to unlock . I do
appreciate your interest.
I am a novice at this new "art" with my Canon 20D. It
is a great deal of fun. I find myself reading until
after midnight trying to absorb any titbit. This
certainly could be a passion!
Thank you again, Amy.
Best regards.

Hi Amy,
Just
wanted to thank you for all your helpful tips on
taking pictures. I am still a real amateur, but
have made it to the semi-finals in a contest for Picture.com and they want to put my submitted
picture in a coffee table book they are publishing
in 2008.
Thank
you,

Hi Amy,
Hi Amy
just to say how great your books are. I have been
taking photos with a digital for about 3 years and
have had good shots and bad. After reading your book I
feel confident the ratio of good will be a lot higher
than ever. A great read value for money and a good
learning tool
thanks,

Dear Amy,
I'm still progressing through your books (on chapter
10 of Digital Photography Success) and I've also just
bought a new camera which is far more
advanced/complicated than my old one (it's a Fuji
Finepix S9600).
However, at least as I'm getting to grips with it I
understand the balance between shutter speeds/aperture
and settings like the EV correction on the camera
haven't confused me. I've been experimenting
with it most days this week and went to the Q1 tower
at Surfers Paradise today where I took a few nice
landscape shots (as well as quite a few average
shots!). However, the camera coupled with my new
knowledge I've learned on your course has made a
dramatic difference - so thank you.
I've also re-tried a few things having read your book.
Up until now my efforts at macro photography have
usually been pretty poor but this week has seen a big
improvement in this area. Another area concerned shots
of the moon this week but in general the moon was
either over exposed or its surface was lacking real
clarity. I've previously tried this with my old camera
and also had pretty average results but I then
discovered the sections on photographing the moon in
your "Five most popular scenarios" book and now
understand what I'm doing wrong - I'll let you know
how I get on with my next efforts.
In addition to my efforts, my younger Calum (12), has
also decided to start reading through your books, he's
claimed my old camera as his own and is taking shots
of just about everything he comes across. So I guess
you can genuinely claim that you've fired up a bit of
enthusiasm for photography in my household!
I'll keep in touch as I work my way through the rest
of your books and if I come across something I'm not
sure about I'll ask you.
Regards,
Paul.

Hello Amy,
Thank you Amy for all the information you have
shared with me, it has really helped me in all
aspects of my photography. I have attached a
photograph of the Mill Avenue Bridge located in
Tempe Arizona. It’s actually just off the Arizona
State University. Hope you like it. Please let me
know what you think of it. I’m shooting a Nikon D300
and I love it…..
Thanks again, and take care..

Dear Lady Amy,
A double expression of gratitude,
coming from the "almost springlike"
Quebec (still with about five feet of snow in my
area). Thanks you for your getting
in touch so soon after helping me to download your
marvellous book; and thank you also
for the instant help when I ran into problems with my
first attempt to download.
Writing this little note all the way down to the other
side of mother earth, is giving
me impulses to fly down and have a look at your
wonderful country. I'll feel privileged
to keep you posted. But first I'll have to study your
book and learn how to apply - to
my recently purchased NIKON D80 - all you wonderful
ideas.
With fondest regards,
Adalbert Lallier

Dear Amy,
Thank you for your interest. I'm enjoying the material
in your ebook very much. It's loaded with great
information and you share your knowledge
light-heartedly and in a way that makes the subject of
digital photography so much less intimidating. It's a
great reference tool and I'm sure I will be using it
frequently as I experiment more and more with my
photography.
It's also nice to think that I can have you as a
resource when I might have a question. It's quite
unusual for an author to reach out to her readers in
such a personal way and very nice of you.
Thanks again for taking the time to check in. I'm so
satisfied with the wealth of information included in
your ebooks and I look forward to touching base with
you again in the future.
Sincerely,
Marilyn

Hi Amy,
I absolutely love your book. Best money ever spent. I
am looking for best way to approach a particular
picture. Although this is not the time of year I enjoy
taking pictures of thunderstorms such as lightning
etc. Especially at night. I have had some brief
success but mostly with the film camera.
Suggestions? Again thanks again I love the e-book.

Dear Amy,
I have very much enjoyed your e-book and it has been
fun and educational. I cannot believe you took the
time to answer me, much less that you would write an
article and post it!!! Thank you very much. I look
forward to Friday. I have learned much from your
e-book and I am out there practicing.
Thanks again,
Steve Bader

Hi Amy

like me to learn more about taking amazing photos in a way

I has since I was a little girl. And with your help it is
even more
rewarding!! I really enjoyed your interview with David. Keep

Hi Amy!
Your enthusiasm is contagious! I used to live in NZ and had
a small laboratory there where I did work for professional
photographers. Printing is not the same as taking pictures
and there I can learn a lot from you! I love your fresh
approach! Thanks very much and keep it up!
Kind regards,
Leen, New Zealand
